The New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging, through a grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, presents The Care of the Aging Medical Patient in the Emergency Room (CampER), a comprehensive, competency-based geriatric curriculum for emergency medicine residents. The curriculum, which includes 12 presentations, was developed by geriatricians and emergency medicine physicians and includes instruction on principles in caring for the older adult and the management of common geriatric emergencies that highlight atypical presentation of disease and evidence-based treatment strategies.
